RUNNING ASSESSMENT & REHAB

A running assessment can help you prevent injuries, improve form to make running more efficient, and improve your speed!

Get back to running the safe way after surgery, illness, having a baby, or any other situation which may have altered your gait, strength, or movement patterns.

Who would benefit from this assessment? Anyone who wants to run! Whether you are running races and breaking records or you jog once a week to the mailbox and back!

Running evaluation and follow up

1 visit for assessment, 1 visit for education on analysis: $250

The first visit will consist of a discussion of the runners history and activity habits, equipment check and recommendation (mostly for shoes) and movement and video assessment. You will be running during this examination either outdoors or on a treadmill if available. At the second visit the patient will receive an analysis of the video taken with a written explanation of measurements and suggestions for form adjustment, strengthening, and mobility improvement.

Running assessment will include 2 visits

  1. Evaluation of mobility, strength, and movement ability. This will include video analysis of you running on a treadmill or over ground outside.
  2. Follow up to go over video analysis, impairments to be addressed, and also therapist suggested corrections, areas to focus on for strength and stretching, and suggested exercises.
