From the Ground Up Therapy and Wellness is currently in network with Medicare and Tricare Select but we can work with other insurances too! Depending on your benefits you may have out of network coverage. 

A simple call to insurance will let you know if you have benefits and what they are. You can also provide us with your insurance information and we can check for you. 

We offer a prompt pay discount for patients not utilizing insurance.

We provide mobile physical therapy, meaning we come to you!

We have options available on a case by case basis if a patient would prefer not to have in-home therapy. Contact us!

If a patient would benefit from aquatic therapy we utilize the pool at Diver’s Den which is heated and has a lift available for patients that have difficulty getting in and out of the pool. 

We truly believe in an integrative treatment approach working with other healthcare professionals to treat all aspects of a patient’s needs and a referral from your provider is a great way for us to communicate. If you don’t have a referral the state of Georgia has direct access and a patient can be treated for 8 visits or 21 days after which a referral is needed to continue treatment.

Decrease risk of falls through rehabilitation that will challenge your strength, mobility, and balance centers including vestibular and proprioceptive.

Aquatic therapy

Utilize the natural buoyancy of water to facilitate exercise without the compressive loading forces present with routine land-based therapy programs.

Surgical rehabilitation

Treatment including hands on care, exercise, and pain management to prepare you prior to and help you recover after any type of surgery.

Dry Needling

A treatment using a thin needle to penetrate and stimulate myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissue for management of pain and mobility.
